It's nice to see you . . . again

TAKE A MOMENT TO BOOKMARK PLEASE

Relax your mind . . . become one with your senses . . . . and then, if you're able . . .

 contemplate the certainty that

 -  SIZE MATTERS -

and in fact

- LESS . . . IS MORE -

and

  - SMALLER . . . IS BETTER -

and then, enter a  website dedicated to a wonderful hobby . . .  Z Scale or 1:220 Scale, Model Railroading (the smallest scale in model railroading).

I began working in miniature in 1992 when I was assigned the task of building my daughter a 1:12 scale dollhouse but quickly got bored and restarted with a more challenging and one half again smaller, 1:24 scale.  My thinking was if your going to make something smaller than the real thing, make it as small as practical while maintaining some appreciable degree of realism.  In the process of completing the dollhouse, I adopted my current philosophy . . . .  less is more or smaller is better

After retiring in 2006, I decided to build a Z Scale layout in a steamer trunk with a early 1954 New Orleans feel to it and more recently have began actual construction.  I am preceeding very slowly, not because I'm cautious and deliberate but because I'm lazy and spend more time day dreaming than actually doing anything.

My hope is to build as many of the features as I am able and in many cases will build extras in the hopes of selling them  on Ebay, should anyone be interested.  I am sure that like myself, most railroaders would prefer to build their own pieces but don't have the necessary time to research and develop each and every item.  Some of the items I plan to do in Z scale are  unfinished kits, finished/painted kits,  kitbashing and scratch built projects.  I  naturally welcome any comments, advise or criticism.

I won't bore you with, the usual, I am a artist with so and so years experience, because I am not.  I will, however, sign the larger pieces in order to maintain accountability. I will also, strive for satisfaction if not perfection on my pieces and attempt to describe them as accurately as possible.  If buyers are not 100% satisfied (for whatever reason) they are welcome to return them for a full refund minus shipping costs . . . no conditions, no questions asked.  I do request that returns be postmarked within 3 days of original receipt.

AGAIN, I  ONLY SELL ON EBAY TO PROVIDE BOTH MYSELF AND THE BUYER PROPER PROTECTIONS

added February 23, 2009

If you see an item on this site that you are interested in I can list it as a BUY IT NOW on EBAY.  This practice, I believe, best the serves the interests of the buyer, myself and EBAY (who provides a remarkable outlet to buyer and seller). For my Ebay listings, I  accept payments by PAYPAL

In most cases I ship to the lower 48 United States only unless specific arrangements are made between myself and buyer prior to bidding.
